PDF Reader, our leading app for PDF viewing and annotation, has surpassed the 20-million downloads mark just in time for the release of PDF Reader for Android! Users love PDF Reader’s comprehensive features and high quality design, and so does Apple—PDF Reader has routinely featured in the top ten app lists of Apple’s various global app stores. The release of PDF Reader for Android is part of our effort to make our award winning apps available across all major platforms.
We are much obliged to you for the 20 million plus downloads you logged for us, as PDF Reader is now the second most downloaded PDF reader app after Adobe Reader! It is the comprehensiveness of PDF Reader’s features that truly set Kdan’s PDF Reader apart apart. Users can highlight, underline, freehand draw, fill and sign forms, add shapes, sticky notes, and text boxes, and flatten PDFs. Annotated PDFs can be shared and stored via email and all major cloud storage services, including the Kdan’s own cloud services . In addition, PDF Reader’s file scan feature allows the user to import images using their device’s built-in camera, and then export the images as PDFs.
Following our recent partnerships with Samsung and Nokia, the release of PDF Reader for Android is our latest move to increase Kdan’s presence on the Android platform. After meeting with overwhelming demand for our iOS and Macintosh apps, we’re enthusiastic to make more Kdan apps available for Android, and to bring Kdan users more options for sophisticated manipulation of PDFs on all their devices.
